Autumn. It is a time of harvest. A time of change, a shift in the air, a new beginning. The earth ushers us into a new season full of reds and yellows, of crunching leaves beneath our feet, and smells of cinnamon and apple. Pumpkin pie and an excess of whipping cream, all around. We welcome this season, as we bundle up in sweaters and scarfs and take deep breaths of the newly crisp air. Here is what autumn looks like for us.
Stacks of warmth.
Warm socks. And coffee.
Pumpkins and Pumpkin Spice Lattes.
Pumpkin decor all around the house.
Apples by the bushel.
Apple Cranberry Cinnamon Pecan Crepes for Breakfast.
Pumpkin Muffins. For Second Breakfast.
Homemade Pretzels. Dipped into Carmel.
Warm Squash Soup.
The last few backyard campfires.
And of course the Pumpkin Patch!
Don’t forget to share the season with your pals! My daughter and her friend Jonny getting a wagon ride.
